Marcus Freeman to ND or LSU?

No idea what Fansided is but it reports Freeman has interviewed with ND twice which may have the edge over LSU.

Validity to this blog’s comments re Strong to UM?

IMO, "Fansided" -affiliated websites aren't much better than Bleacher Report used to be. Its articles are often written at a junior high reading level and I've had my doubts about their credibility to the extent that I usually don't give them clicks if I first notice the website source name.

In the last locked Harbaugh thread, there was a comment about Bo getting an offer from TAMU to get a better deal from UofM. It should be pointed out that Bo was on a one year deal that renewed annually. That’s very different than the deal Harbaugh has.

Pretty sure there is nothing more to it than that.  During the Peach Bowl the analysts were talking about their backstory and how close they are. And then showed their wives sitting together in the stands.  Both have large families (6 kids each, IIRC) and they spend a lot of time together as friends away from football.  Lived together at one point during a house hunt by one of them.

If you're Freeman and you can get a multi-year deal at some significant multiple of your comp, you have to look into that.  There are very few assistants wired like Brent Venables or (back in the day) Mickey Andrews.
