Were you looking forward to beating your friends in your March Madness pools? Already counting your prize money and looking forward to office bragging rights? Don’t be discouraged, we have a solution for you! Did you realize that horse racing will be the only live sport on national TV this weekend?

Join the Taste of Victory Stables Handicapping contest to bring all the fun of March Madness to your social distancing!
 

You can watch your contest horses by tuning in to either:

  • America's Day at the Races, produced by the New York Racing Association. Weekend coverage will begin at 1:30 p.m. (all times Eastern) Friday on Fox Sports 2 with coverage shifting to Fox Sports 1 at 3. The show will also air Saturday and Sunday on FS1 from 1:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Additionally, it was announced that NBC Sports Network will simulcast TVG's Trackside Live from 4-8 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday


Week 1 Contest Races (All on Sat, March 21):
New Orleans Classic (Fair Grounds) 
San Luis Rey Stakes (Santa Anita)
Fairgrounds Oaks (Fair Grounds)
Louisiana Derby (Fair Grounds)

 
 HOW TO PLAY:

  • Select your horse to place a fictitious $2 win, place, and show “bet” in each of the selected races for the weekend, and whoever ends up with the most “money”each weekend wins!
  • First prize is a $100 Visa gift card and a Taste of Victory Stables hat, second place is a $50 Visa gift card and a Taste of Victory Stables hat, and third place is a Taste of Victory Stables hat!
  • The last weekend of the contest will be April 4-5, and the participant with the most cumulative earnings will win a bonus $100 Visa gift card! 
  • If you would like to participate, please email [email protected] with your interest. The races we select each week will be sent out Thursday evening, along with entrants, and morning line odds. Each week will also feature a handicapping analysis from team TOV!
  • All races in Week One are Saturday, so selections must be in by 12 pm (EST) Saturday March 21. Deadline times will vary depending on post times for races, so pay attention to the weekly announcements!

Don't miss Royal Ascot - the biggest one with a total prize fund of more than 7 million$. You may try your luck and make a bet as well. There some sites that make horse racing predictions.
