If you go back and read every tweet...he basically was trolling to be an "inside" reporter like guys on ESPN. And then it started picking up steam and he was clearly on the "right: side of things.

What's funny is if he boosts his career and becomes an "insider" off of this.

It really was just knowing the one person was some decent knowledge of the situation and then acting as if he knew it all, making a prediction and being right.

But it's not like this prediction was hard. It was pretty much 50/50 and if you're wrong, it's not like it's your Schefty and it's your job and people are going to remind you of it. Wiley is a talking head in the same vein as Barkley or Shaq, they make predictions like this as well, but no one calls them out when they're wrong because they're Barkley and Shaq.

So I'm not going to give him a ton of credit. I'm just going to give him credit for sharing some info that was against majority/popular belief of his employer.

Mw has his own show out here with Max Kellerman. Actually it's a real good show as Max is probably the best guy associated with Espn. I don't think MW cares what the guys at ESPN think of him. Good for him that he was reporting what his sources were telling him.

If the fans are not chanting "Harbaugh" all during the first half I will be (slightly) disappointed.

I find it interesting/hilarious that Wiley is more in tune to UM than Michigan grad Schefter. He is still trying to put doubt in our minds that Jim will stay in NFL.

Somewhere in Bristol, Connecticut at a very large office complex that houses a certain sports network, I am sure that a programming director is trying to convince his bosses that they should cover "something significant" at the Michigan-Illinois game on Tuesday, and their reply is likely along the lines of "Why, are the 1989 squads for each team going to play some pick-up hoops at halftime or something?"
