Washington seems to have played a tougher schedule overall, but they also played some kind of close games against bottom subpar teams.

Northwestern beat Utah. That is all for now.

Oh sweet! Looking at the MSU score and using the transitive property, we should win by a couple touchdowns.

How did UW let that MSU team score?!

Too soon.

Their mid-level opponents were slightly higher ranked, but their wins against top level opponents were tighter.

PSA reminder, we benched many starters for most of the second half in a bunch of those games and JJ didn't play a snap in the 4th quarter until Purdue.
Those games we played against mid and poor opponents were worse than these scores reflect.

Washington's wins against the lower half of their schedule look much tighter than Michigan's.
I think both teams have played the year in the face of a lot of doubters. Should be a great game.

Typo, Michigan is ranked ahead of Washington 66 times not 65.

I read this as the championship game is rightly #1 vs #2.

THIS: #91 Arizona State 15-7

Wow, washington has way more 1 score wins. They have definitely had a lot of luck on their hands.
8 fricken 1 score wins!

Ranking Washington outside the top 10 seems a bit silly to me. Putting them at #19 is just plain stupid.

I think if Michigan plays this same schedule Washington had I think you would expect:
Similar results, (Close game, hard to say) with
Texas and Oregon
Bigger wins against:
Arizona, OSU, Utah (they were without their QB), USC, Arizona St., Stanford
Similar results (Blowouts) against
Boise, Cal, and Tulsa.
We both played MSU so that's a fair comparison, though it is their superbowl when they play us so that says something about something as well.
We are the better team.

did the sparty-UW game happen in seattle? did UW have their head coach?
i'm sorry, i respect UW and it won't be easy, but we have had a tougher schedule, played half of it without our hall of fame coach, and we aren't losing to the huskies. period, end of story.
