Logan Tuley-Tillman update
Per the Army All-American live chat today, Logan Tuley-Tillman announced a top five (in order) of Michigan, Alabama, Arkansas (just offered today), Ohio and South Carolina. He'll be visiting Ann Arbor for the Wisconsin game tomorrow and seems to really have a fondness for us. That being said, Alabama is near the top of his wish list and they haven't even offered him yet. He just took an unofficial there a couple weeks ago and when they do offer (assumption) it might get interesting.

He seems like a great kid and wherever he goes (except Ohio), I will be rooting for him.

before i ask this, i need to clarify that i'm not trying to be a dick, though it's probably gonna come off that way.
i always see comments like the one above on the board, but does anyone actually mean it?? there are a lot of recruits out there who seem like great kids and the sentiment to wish them well is commendable, but do people actually follow through on it? for me personally, if a recruit chooses another school, i'm not ever going to wish them ill-will, but i'm probably going to forget their name/existence by the time the season starts.
this isn't specific to you coldnjl, just a general question.

I've almost posted this same comment many times. I don't really get it. Off the top of my head I can't think of anyone I would root for who doesn't play for Michigan or who I don't know personally. If I rooted for every good kid I'd be rooting for someone on every team in the country. If we lose a kid I give a halfhearted good luck and never think of him again.

I only root for players who play for Michigan... well, that and South Florida.

DORSEY FAN 4 LYFE
okay, in all seriousness, I will root for DD wherever that kid ends up.

i think most people kind of just forget about the average player when he goes elsewhere. Unless the kid has a personal story that is really catching or some kind of link to the kid by hometown or something

I hear what you are saying. In this case for me it is different because my 6 year-old right tackle has taken a liking to Logan. He loved the article about the dedication and taking the train to go work out with the best. I have to admit my son is a little spoiled so it is cool that he has someone to read about who has to work his butt off. He was fired up today when Logan was on the live blog.
We also have to follow Zeke Pike and Zeke Motta (painful) because of the first name. Not a lot of Zeke's out there.

Especially if they go to a team that we play during the year. Then I wish that they were overrated out of HS and don't have a good career.

How could anyone possibly want to spend 4 years with Nick Saban over Brady Hoke? Midwest guy I think stays with the good guys.
January 7th, 2012 at 5:10 PM ^
idk how anyone could trust that Saban will even be there for the next 4 years
January 7th, 2012 at 5:16 PM ^
Where would Nick Saban go? Retire?
January 7th, 2012 at 5:17 PM ^
That'd be my first guess.
January 7th, 2012 at 5:25 PM ^
He'd never go to hell. Saban would never go to a place he couldn't have full control.

i think even satan might be afraid of saban. saban makes grown men cry.

They're two different people.

<br>I guess the "b" really does fool people.

He would give Satan a medical and kick his ass out.
January 7th, 2012 at 5:49 PM ^
Satan obiously works for the NCAA, so I think he'd survive.
January 7th, 2012 at 5:21 PM ^
he has had an issue staying with one program for an extended period of time. Plus I have a feeling his oversigning and "asking" kids to take medical scholarships will come back to bite him eventually.

Your ankle hurts real bad, right? You don't think you can play the rest of your career, right? Cool.

Saban will always be an issue, regardless of how many stops he's made. For all of his obvious faults, he's a master recruiter and nobody can deny that. Hoke and co. would have their hands full if (when) LTT is offered.

Wrong Thread.
Go blue Logan!
