Lions win the division for the first time since 1993!

Reminds me of the UM win over osu, 6 point win sealed with INT inside the 25. Great win. Exact same score, too.

Side note, I hate when defensive players try to scoop and score when change of possession wins the game. Just fall on the damn ball! Almost cost them the game.

The surface is blue
And the dark interweaves
In a lonely iridescence
It's terribly deep
And the cold is complete
And it only lacks your presence
And nothing else

I find I still have the old expectations. On that last drive I was sure the Vikes would score. It wasn’t “if”. It was “how”. Because the Lions have lost so many games at Minny and last year was a classic Lions collapse. I know they aren’t SOL logically but I have three decades of emotional conditioning to overcome.

Good victory.  Announcers made a big deal of the 4 Vikings interception.  But one was on 4 th down, that interception cost the lions 20 yards.  Another was on 3rd and long and was effectively a 48 yard arm punt.

Yeah, sometimes you wonder whether or not announcers even understand the game they're watching.

Same with their coverage of that late fumble. They kept talking about how, if Cominskey had recovered the ball, he could have scored, as if his failure to do so was just bad luck, but they didn't even mention that if he had just fallen on the damn ball the Lions win. Turned out not to matter, but it seemed pretty critical at the time.

Still. Great win. Best record in the NFC!
