Sorry guys. This is my fault.

Usually the night before games, I eat at home. Maybe order a pizza or something & prepare for the game the next day.

But this year I actually went out with friends each Friday night before the game to Buffalo Wild Wings. The first time I did this? The Friday night before Akron.

I am okay with the bowl; it's not amazing but it should be fun for the team and K-State is not a MAC team. But seriously...who would buy this? A Michigan fan who really loves wings?

but I believe the payout doesn't matter because all the BIG teams split the bowl revenue evenly.

Also, don't like the more likely to win argument.  Bowl games are way more exciting against good teams than bad teams, and a win against a good team would mean a lot more.  I'd like to see what this team does with 15 practices and a chance to get Gardner healthy.  KSU is ok, but It would have been great to get matched up against a better team.

Nothing like the sweet smell of mediocrity.  Sugar Bowl to this in three years.  Sounds like the man in charge is "absolutely the right man" to lead this program forward.

There's just the little matter of established track record. Bo had maintained a high level of success and achievement for 15 years at Michigan by the time the disastrous 1984 season happened.

Maybe he'll get there someday, but Brady Hoke's record as a head coach right now ain't remotely close to Bo's.

Good coaches have bad seasons. Saban went 6-6 at Bama his first year. Look at his seasons at MSU. Not impressive unti his final year. Sometimes it takes time to build something.

Mark Dantonio went 7-6 in Year Six at MSU. His program clealry regressed. Is he a bad coach?

Now, if UM has another bad year in 2014 then yeah, this program has to undergo drastic changes. But three years has proven in the past not to be enough time to fairly evaluate a guy. (RichRod never had the support and thus he had to go because he was never going to succeed here. That was more on Michigan then him in my opinion.)

If they can't interest anyone in a $20 t shirt how are they going to get anyone to go to the damn game? I mean, seriously, Dave Brandon would have to pay me to go to this game.

it may surprise you, but there are a lot of Michigan fans and alums who live west of Chicago who never get a chance to see their team play. And a lot of people who live in the midwest who would enjoy a trip to Arizona in December.
