We know that he poached a few 4 and 5 star recruits here and there from Florida, LSU, etc. He also jacked Bama's best recruiter, try to snake Bill Gonazles during BCS preparations, and then tried to poach Richt's assistants. This is fine, because if he has the money, why shouldn't he want to get people? But everytime I read something about this guy, it makes me want to see his team get demolished next year. I'm just going to assemble some tidbits from the last few days... Can't find the link, but he mentioned how UGA has failed to recruit the state of Georgia... Last time I checked, he didn't secure Tennessee... i.e. Marlon Brown Kiffin drew huge applause at a breakfast celebrating the Vols' recruiting class for his remarks about Nu'Keese Richardson, a wide receiver from Pahokee, Fla., who committed to the national champion Gators but signed with the Vols. "I'm going to turn Florida in right now in front of you," Kiffin told the crowd. "Nu'Keese was here on campus, and his phone kept ringing. One of our coaches said, 'Nu'Keese, who's that?' He said, 'Urban Meyer.' "Just so you know, when a recruit is on another campus, you can't call him. I love the fact that Urban had to cheat and still didn't get him." http://www.statesman.com/sports/content/sports/stories/other/02/06/0206… Turn Florida in? WTF guy, you are not in 3rd grade anymore. Then... The 33-year-old coach also took a swipe at Alabama, which had the No. 1 class according to Rivals.com. "Nick Saban should have started his press conference by saying, 'Our great class that we signed ... I'd really like to thank Lance (Thompson) because Lance signed eight of those guys.' " That is from the same website. Then there was some fluff with Spurrier as well. --------------------------------- I don't care about Florida, LSU, Tenn., Bama, or the SEC. But this level of arrogance annoys the heck out of me. Can you imagine if any of the Big Ten coaches acted like this in a press conference? A rookie coach nonetheless. I guess it will be an interesting year on the field.

...that the SEC will return the favor to him in the very near future. Kiffin might want to build bridges before he burns them down. I'm sure this ain't going well amongst the "good ol' boys" down there.
