Kinda OT: Best way to rent an RV for an away game?
and just trade your house for--straight up
when I posted this... "he took the house I took the RV, It's a good lookin vehicle ain't it?"
Anytime I see an RV, I quote Cousin Eddie. I can't help myself.
but never pulled the trigger. most online places said you had to rent for a 3 day minimum but when i called the places they said i could rent for 2 days if i wanted. i have some acquaintances that have done it and had a blast. good luck.
rent my dad's. He's obsessed with the thing but willing to rent it out. UConn weekend is already taken though. I haven't tailgated in it, but I imagine it'd be great as long as you got a parking spot early enough.
I am in A2 but thanks for the offer none the less...
For PSU and for Illinois. The first time was through cruiseamerica. It wasn't bad but you have to deal with driving those tacky billboards all over the place. We did a little more research the second time around and were able to find something a little nicer for about the same price.
There are a lot of places renting RVs out there. I have even seen some people offering their RV up through Craig's List. Do some searching. You'll find something. Some friendly advice: Plan the trip. The rental places will charge you if you don't return the RV witgh full gas in the generator and propone tank, full water, and an empty septric. Find a campground or alternate place that you can refill the propane and empty the septic on the way back.
Both times, we rented in Michigan. Alternately, you could pick one up on the way. We almost did this for Iowa last year but only three of us ended making the trip so we didn't want to shell out the cash. Taking the RV from Michigan is a blast (for everyone but the driver) but the mileage and gas adds up.
