Kalis gets high praise from Rivals.

Kyle Kalis was named as the second best performer by Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Mike Farrell, for the games Farrell attended over this weekend. Kalis' St. Ed.'s team played Don Bosco which as we know has several four-stars and five-star Darius Hamilton. The St. Ed.'s/Bosco game was part of a triple header, and five-star Eddie Goldman was the only player rated with a better performance during the three games.

I also thought a few of his quotes in his interview with Farrell were interesting as well:

It was just the great family atmosphere at Michigan. All the kids in the class … I'm close with Tom [Strobel] and Bri'onte [Dunn] - Bri'onte's not in the class, but I'm close with all these guys."  --- Cryptic Kalis with the Dunn quote?

Also, a little humor out of Kalis when Farrell asked him how it feels being so close to being rated a five-star, and if it really matters if he gets that fifth-star.

Kalis responded, "Not really, but you can give it to me if you want to".

is just what you want to hear.  I am certain that Kalis is friends with a great number of very good highly recruited players ... but when he names Dunn with another U of M recruit (Strobel) I doubt that is just a coincidence.

Bri'onte is the 30 carries a game power back that fits perfectly into Hoke's future game plan ... and there is not a single RB in the current class that meets those requirements.  I would love to see him EE and get the advantage of spring ball and the odds are that he could even be starting as a true freshman.

Better yet ... now Bri'onte knows that Fickle will not be the head coach next year ... so who will it be?  and also what high profile coach is going to take a job that very likely is going to be hit with NCAA sanctions and loss of scholarships .... hmmmmm.
