Zak Irvin will improve a ton and eventually be one of our best players.

I feel the same way, but with the way Beilein coaches up freshman it's definatley a possiblity that by tournament time he will be ready to play a larger role.

Time to put the Invisible Man on the bench and let Irvin improve in game situations. He's showed himself quite well in situational substitutions while the Invisible Man continues to shrink from the spotlight.

Damnit, that piece made me really like Gary Harris.

Yeah, I hope he actually was a jerk and they edited that out, because now I can't hate the guy that much.

Yeah, just like last year's making me like Aaron Craft and Keith Appling, etc.. The Journey is evil, humanizing our enemies, those bastards!

Maybe I'm just hearing it wrong.

He did indeed say that. Maybe he coaches AAU. It would be a good plan to get some recruits.

Exceptional young men, the both of 'em.

Great feature, and it's actually really cool that both Irvin and Harris maintain the connection with their high school as was mentioned here, that they reconnect with the staff whenever they get back to Fishers, IN. Also, the story about putting the holes in the wall was actually rather amusing, I thought, especially Harris' reaction when he remembers the second one.
Thanks for sharing this. Very interesting glimpse into both players' lives.

Both Irvin and Harris seem like too good kids who come from tow great families. I wish them both success, except when Sparty plays us, a bit less for Harris.
Good piece....thanks for posting.

I especially loved how Zak's parents were all maized out the entire episode while Gary Harris's parents wore brown. Haha I agree, it made me like Gary Harris even more and I can't wait till he goes to the NBA so I can finally cheer for him. I'm looking forward to Zak fulfilling his potential at Michigan!

Cool feature and I think Irvin is going to turn into a stud. I'd love for him to go to the Nik Stauskas school of catch/release in 0.2 seconds, because that's the biggest weakness I see in his game early on.
Regardless, I think he should start seeing at least half of GRlll's minutes. I love Irvin's aggressiveness and the fact that he doesn't shy away from a big shot.

Cool feature. I didn't know Gary and Zak go back to when they were little pups or that Gary was that young. Going forward, Zak has to work on rotating on defense and his off the dribble game but provides us with one heck of a sniper this season.

Both of them went to my high school and I still keep in touch with a lot of the teachers at HSE. The school absolutely loves both of them. Excellent students and excellent young men. I have never hated Gary Harris (besides the fact that he's too damn good sometimes). I have Zak's mom's mentality about Gary... I tend to root for him... but just him lol. Hopefuly Zak finishes 2-0 against him and Harris enjoys his NBA lottery pick.
