Josh Jackson 2016 #1 player per Rivals
He seems like an early MSU lean. Its not often a kid from Michigan is ranked that high. Probably only C Webb. Obviously he would be a great get.

Yes, it is basketball. Not sure I agree with the MSU lean part, though. If anything, Kentucky would probably be the early favorite, as that is the one school he said he hopes to get an offer from (which he obviously will).

To add that he's a basketball recruit. I really struggled getting past #1 player per Rivals and MSU lean.

Plenty of time for Izzo to drop the ball - Jabari Parker was the top rated person in class at about the same point and was thought to be an MSU lean

Let's give a little love to umhoops who has great Michigan bball coverage. Here's their info of Josh Jackson:

I wouldn't get excited or disappointed about anyone at this point. It's beyond early and Kentucky will either sign the entire top 35 or get banished from college sports.

I was going to say, #1 overall in 2016 is a MSU lean (football!!!) OK, order now restored.

gordie bell had a little write up back in Feb., on Josh Jackson. I have been waiting to hear more about Mr. Jackson since then.

Not to pile on, but this place isn't RCMB. Put a bit of context in the post.

Ervin Johnson was as highly rated out of high school but back in the stone age they didn't rank recruits with such vigor as today.

Looks kinda like Manny Harris. Rangy athleticism, good but unconvential jump shot, decent ball handler. Lot to like.
