Interesting that a writer from the Mercury News, not named Tim Kawakami (West Coast Drew Sharp), wrote the article.  I'll be surprised if Kawakami goes silent this week.

Disappointed our old buddy didn't write this one. I think he blocked 75% of the fanbase on twitter back in December.

This "violate NCAA rules" thing is so old.  So he self-reported about half (one of which was raising money for a damn CHARITY) of what OSU self-reports on average, and the media will not shut the fuck up about it.  I think I've heard more from the media about Harbaugh's "violations" than the freaking UNC fake school scandal.

Harbaugh, who attended a camp in Southern California on Wednesday, being received by his peers in the Pac-12? Coaches from the league's four California schools declined to comment, but Arizona's Rich Rodriguez took no issue.

"I don't blame him,'' said Rodriguez, the one-time Michigan coach who will attend a satellite camp in Detroit later this month.

"Outside our footprint, we haven't done it, with the exception of Detroit. Next year, we'll go to some other states."

They don't even mention meeting the First Lady, helping a woman in a car accident, and coaching first base for the A's. He is the man, there is no question about that.

Because that stuff was just in his first 2 weeks.  Too much has happened since then.

If Harbaugh discovers Cold Fusion but he did it 6 months ago, it's no longer a story.  He will have done too many other cool things since then.

Jim Harbaugh may seem complex and hard to figure out, but he really is not.

The key to understanding Jim Harbaugh is to realize that he is the world's oldest Middle Schooler.  All the fun and entertaining things that Middle Schoolers do, he does.  All the rude and annoying things that Middle Schoolers do, he does.

He's just being himself, having a good time.  He's not trying to prove anything to anyone.  He's pure.
