I wish we would've gotten to play Penn State first.

Nah, I like seeing how bad their offense is. It lets us adjust our game plan so that we do not overcommit to areas that are not necessary.

Yes! I assume that being able to study that game in detail will be gold for our coordinators. Read the signs!

I laughed.

This thread deserves more comments but it got washed away by all the sign-stealing posts. So, I am posting a comment.
I have nothing intelligent to say here.

Looking at this and the opponents of the unbeatens, it’s amazing that Georgia is ranked #1. They haven’t beaten anyone better than we have, AND the fancy ranking have them lower than a bunch of teams who have had better opponents. I think they should be ranked #7.

Narratives die hard.

True. The pollsters still rank Georgia #1 because of 2021 & 2022.
The CFP ranking will come out looking exclusively at 2023 and people will be shocked to see Georgia ranked perhaps as low as 4th or 5th.

So in this metric, Penn State and OSU have better defenses than Michigan?
October 24th, 2023 at 1:00 AM ^
Yes, in this metric. Michigan has the 4th best offense (behind LSU, USC, and Washington) and the 3rd best defense (behind PSU and OSU). If you wanna feel a little better, go to BCF Toys and look at the F+ rankings: second in offense and second in defense there.

This one deserves a posting as well.

This one was in Brian's column, but it certainly doesn't hurt the eyes to see it again.
