Would Harbaugh ruin him too?

You don't need to play defense in the Big Ten. Look at OSU last year. Yes, they have played good defense this year, but they haven't played a great team yet. OSU's offense is disgustingly good. I'm not saying it's an upgrade. I'm simply saying I'd make that offer to him.

Yeah.  I mean.  Dude already has enough money.  And he doesn't have to work as hard for the wins.  And he's already proven he's a great coach at a P5 school.  And he can recruit better down there and maybe win the CFP.

So why do you think he, or any other perennial coach, would come to coach at Michigan, where all we can offer is the same money you can get anywhere else?  Seems like he'd have everything to lose and nothing to gain by coming here...

Best we're ever going to be able to do is Harbaugh or someone who's unproven but needs a shot, and we're the only P5 school who will offer him.  Sort of like we did with Rich Rod and Hoke, or what ND did with Brian Kelly, but how does that approach sound to you?  Kind of makes me crazy, tbh, but idk about you.  Harbaugh sure has been pissing me off, though.

Michigan is a step down from OU. He’s had 2 Heisman winners, made the CFP twice, and won multiple Big12 championships.

Fields looks like Joe Montana at OSU. He’d look like Ryan Leaf here. Even O’Korn was good before he got here.

Honestly, he'd probably handle the pressure our O-line lets through even worse than Patterson.

If Justin Fields is playing in our offense, he has as many turnovers as TDs.
