One thing that would have made this sweeter is if Mike Dantoni was still on the sidelines for MSU, makes the perfect partner for Frames with those two schools

Bullshit Don.  This place is measured, calm and keeps everything in total perspective when we lose.

Like every other fan base for every other sport in the world.

Personally I dont really give two shits about the PSU fan base so their misery doesnt move the needle much for me but whenever MSU or Notre Dame loses I enjoy it very much.

And if Ohio State ever lost I'd probably enjoy that even more.

PSU may be a step below on the schadenfreude ladder compared to OSU,ND, and MSU, but they're right there. I don't care much about the misery of any other teams but those 4.

It's probably because they have a coach who inexplicably won the Big ten title despite having a history of terrible in-game decisions and being outcoached by Brady freaking Hoke. Frames is also kind of a dick. And some of their fans can be just as bad as OSU fans.

Sparty Fan:  "I’m absolutely mind-fucked at what Jay Johnson & Mel Tucker did that last series!"

Awesome and priceless.  Fuck Sparty.

Hilarious article - thanks for posting, OP.

I like sparty misery just like everyone, however, I thought Rocky Lombardi looked pretty good as their QB slinging it.

Never take MSU lightly. Prep as if a formidable opponent and beat 'em this weekend!

I'd love for us to put 100 on them but you're right.  Lombardi wasn't actually a trainwreck against Rutgers.  His numbers were 31/43 for 319 yards, although his two interceptions were REALLY bad.

MSU also had 7 turnovers.  They'll probably have just one or none against us, knowing how rarely teams fumble against us.

That's assuming Lombardi's line doesn't get him killed before the half, and that Michigan's defense won't fare better than Rutgers' did.  MSU's OL is bad.  He is going to take some hits.  Also even with short fields due to turnovers (of which Rutgers also had a few), they still allowed a ton of points.  They will not have enough offense to overcome a defense that bad.  I only heard some of it on the radio, but it sounds like their tackling was really bad, which bodes well for our new Speed in Space approach to offense.

Franklin has gotten an amazing amount of mileage with part of the Michigan fan base for the ONE win he has in multiple tries against OSU.

Yes, better than Harbaugh's zero, but not enough to make him a Hall-of-Famer.

MSU and PSU fans can never experience enough pain for my taste.

And how about some underrated pain?  Iowa has been a gigantic pain in the ass this past decade.  Was happy to see them lose on Saturday as well.

No tears for sparty fans. They are long overdue. PSU fans are spoiled. They have some big games coming up so they are not out of it.

Stay positive Michigan fans and Go Blue!
