No pressure tonight, boys, it's all on Nova. That is the death squad that squashes all opponents. They are the unanimous favorites because they are the best in the land, by a mile. They are the national darlings. They shoot the lights out and have NBA players everywhere.
So it's a good thing the games are played on the court, rather than in the press. Because this Michigan team, this Michigan coaching staff, these Michigan players... They know how to win close games, they know how to close out opponents. And they know how to defend. Defense wins championships - and nobody plays defense like Michigan. NOBODY!!!

On a Monday?
I know its playing for a national title so I'd be naive to say there's no pressure on this team to win, but the pressure is really on Villanova to win tonight. Most people aren't even giving Michigan a chance after what they saw Villanova do to Kansas the other night. I don't blame them, but as we've seen all throughout this tournament, anything can happen on any given night. It's true that we haven't seen a team as good as Villanova this year. But Villanova likely hasn't seen a defense as good as Michigan's.
All the pressure is on Villanova to go out and "do what it's supposed to do." They are SUPPOSED to win this game. Michigan has been playing with house money since the A&M game, so hopefully that will allow them to go out there and play loose. If they can re-capture their A&M offense tonight, this is anyone's game.
Every college basketball team in the country (except Villanova) wishes they were Michigan today. Go Blue!
I plan of having Subway for lunch, and I didn't make the connection between my lunch plans to what today was until just this very second.

Love that fact that we're not only underdogs, but big enough dogs that 99% of the "experts" are picking nova. Got 'em right where we want 'em.
