really, REALLY hope that Harbaugh has had too much time on his hands and has discovered random stupid internet strategy regarding Grant.

I want to imagine him rolling into a team meeting tomorrow morning and KG being his number one suggestion.

"It's like The Train formation... BUT! It is 9 offensive linemen, Orji, and Kenneth Grant. I want a Hawkeye to literally take a football up the ass. I want those poor kids in the hospital to CRY when it happens live on television."

Jim gets a weird look in his eyes. "I think we could do that on every goddamn play for 4 quarters."

Iowa's best strategy might be to punt on first down and hope the defense can get turnovers.

They rush for 3.46 yards/attempt.
Passing Rating 95.91
Third Down Conversion: 31%

...and that's against a lot of bad teams.

There's absolutely no reason Michigan should lose this game, which is exactly why they could. Stay focused and don't get injured. Iowa's defense is no joke and they got ten wins with the worst offense in college football. They find a way to win.

Like two years ago, I expect Michigan to not be unnecessarily risky on offense.   They knew (and know) that Iowa can’t score to stay in the game.  There’s a chance that this is a boring first half

Right now DraftKings has Michigan -23.5; O/U 35.

This implies a final score of M 29.5, Iowa 6, or perhaps M 29, Iowa 6.5.

FanDuel has Iowa's team total at 6.5. In a championship game. Truly incredible.

Michigan was up 14-13 at halftime against Purdue last year. It’s an emotional let down game after a win against OSU. They were up 14-3 against Iowa in 2021. It’ll be a slog for about half the game most likely. Vanilla game plan, JJ will prob be a pocket passer only, trying for no more injuries, Iowa pulls out everything they have, etc means a closer game than we would like for about 2 1/2 quarters. I hope I’m way off and we are up huge in the 3rd and start resting players.

In the TCU vs Oklahoma game yesterday (69-45 win for Oklahoma), every single quarter featured more points scored than the entire Nebraska vs Iowa game.
