Because Ive never cheered nor followed another team I feel compelled to ask. Does U of M just have bad luck with injuries? As in are injuries similarly prevalent amongst other teams?
Shouldnt strength and conditioning help to prevent injury?
A lot of other teams have had worse cases. Oklahoma just might have lost a shot at the title because Bradford got hurt. Adrian Peterson got hurt a lot for them too when he played. That's just one example but I can guarantee you its not just us.
oklahoma has really been crushed by injuries.
Lost possiable #1 pick and top 15 tight end OUCH
Look at Oklahoma if you think UM has it bad.
The Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford and the #1 TE draft prosepct in the country (Jermain Gersham) both were hurt in their game against BYU. The All-American Gresham is done for the year.
EDIT- Just beat me to it 213.
Gresham didn't play against BYU.
does help to prevent injuries. Barwis concentrates on this a lot: see the term "prehab," or the following link:
but it seems like we've had more injuries the last 2 years than we did under the Gitt. I haven't actually reviewed any numbers, it just kind of seems that way.
in 2006, both henne and hart missed games cause of injuries...manningham may have too, but i know one game he missed cause of team violation (smoking the reefer)
