Impressive Zach Charbonnet TD run this week
Run from this weekend is more proof that we have something special in Zach. Speed, power, vision and quickness... the full package.

Temper your excitement. There is no argument that this kid can play, but it's high school football. It's premature to say that it will fully translate to the college game. If it does, then we'll see something we haven't seen in a VERY long time. But how many 4/5 star backs have we seen tear it up in high school only to be sorely disappointed when they put on the winged helmet?

UM actually has to land him before we even worry about slapping the UM Just Adequate RB tag on him.

Maybe just let people be excited? Why not be excited?

Well, the kid is very gifted. His quick feet, vision, power and speed are all elite for a 17 year old HS kid-that's SEVENTEEN and he is not an early maturing kid...he will get better. His blockers are also HS kids. I don't know what the story is about this week's opponent but last week he did the same thing and the report was that there were up to 20 D1 prospects on the field...and the report was, also, that he was clearly the best one-and that included his teammate who is listed as a top 5 prospect in this class.

He looks fast and elusive but that was some high school level tackling there.

Yes college players aren't eligible to play high school football.

Man is he light on his feet, for a RB his size.
Attn: Jaybaugh, Partridge and company... Call this kid every day and get out to Cali to see him as much as possible.

I will celebrate once he signs.

That hesitation move was nasty. You normally don’t see that type of thing out of a big back like him, especially in HS.

What's also impressive is his physical size. Looks like a beast, unlike any we've seen wearing the winged helmet for awhile.
