Illinois OL arrested and charged with home invasion
Illinois offensive lineman Darta Lee, from Texas, was arrested and charged with home invasion and armed robbery.
Here's the LINK.
Illinois can't afford this, but I guess at their level of play, it doesn't matter that much. Still, bad to see players behaving badly.
It was actually 3 players who got arrested.

oofdah - that is three times as bad and sad. Tough on Lovie too.
Illinois ain't gonna let no punk ass Michigan State take the spotlight alone!
...yeah, they will try 3 - 9 times harder also!
They will all have scholarships waiting for them when they get out of jail. From Sparty...
I visited there while looking at grad schools. There is just really not much of anything going on in Urbana-Champaign.
....except for maybe home invasions???
/ducks
So, with all of these hijinks, I just realized that I have not seen Fulmer Cupdates in forever. Does anyone know if the Fulmer Cup still exists? Cause Sparty should be high in the standings this year....
half the team was apparently involved! The video's pretty wild.
for the stomping of a person on the ground and several participants being shirtless.
Didn't some UM basketball players get into a fight with eachother after pulling over on US 23? I don't miss those days.

are implying that the victim was selling drugs and that's what the football players wanted to steal but ended up settling for cash instead. Obviously these players are not real bright to start with, but their logic might have been that someone dealing drugs isn't going to call the police.
It looks like a mod went through and deleted the posts suggesting the victim was a drug dealer.
Provided allegations hold up. And you cannot keep your head on straight despite being granted an enormous opportunity. Mr. Big Man. Ms. Stupid Man in prison. Next.
