I'm never going to wash this hand again ...

Submitted by IUandUofM on

Last night after the game we congratulated the Michigan players leaving the stadium and getting on to their buses.

I shook hands with or patted the backs of all our favorites (including Tate), but that all paled in comparison as Denard passed by and I reached for a quick pat and his dreads brushed my hand ... it was magical.  (ok, ok, sounds creepy, yes ... but still cool!).

BTW, Tate was in a great mood ... even signed a quick autograph (1st time I have seen him do that after a game).

Yes, I forgot about that until Geaux Blue just said it.  Thanks and glad you got to touch the dreads.  I am really happy about Denard, but the icing is Tate.  More important than football is the life lessons you learn.

He was referencing a post from a little while back by this guy, whose amazing and pristine BMW has an Ohio plate with the vanity lettering: M1CHGAN. And he lives in Columbus.

No doubt going to South Bend is a breath of relief for that amazing machine, though.

I was the guy standing next to you after you "touched the dreads".  Remember, how I said that hand could probably run a 4.2 - 40 now..... then I had to stop myself from making a really poor attempt at humor regarding you newfound "hand speed"....

It was pretty cool seeing the guys after the game, getting into the buses.  Denard was rushed through the crowd like he was one of the Beatles....Saw Hagerup, Vinepol (both of whom got kiss and hugs from their respective moms), Huyge, Schilling, Van Burgen, Martin, Obi, JT, and others...

For the record, you may have touched Denards dreads, but I got to touch GERG's flowing locks.....FYI, they are real, and they are spectacular....
