Highest Score this Season?

What will be the biggest point total the offense manages this season?  Against whom?

I'm going with about a 52-pointer on Purdue.  Purdue's D was eaten up by the Chips in their bowl game and M's offense will be clicking by this time.  I don't think the Tiller quotes will have much to do with it, but it will be a beating nonetheless.

Last year - Minnesota last in total D. Toledo was 102nd, next worse is Northwestern at 77 (119 teams total). Minnesota had a solid recruiting class which wont help this year and hired former Duke coach Ted Roof as DC. Not sure that helps any. They should be sufficiently shitty again. Toledo was 4th last in scoring D was Minnesota was 11th last. Ive thought for a while, and ive heard this elsewhere as well, that total D is a better predictor of a teams quality than scoring D because of turnovers and some volative factors of luck. I think NW,Minn and Toledo are the 3 most likely games as our Offense should obviously get progressively better. I think these games will be relatively easy wins for us. Another factor to keep an eye on - which team can possibly score on us some and make us keep pushing on offense(or maybe RR will have his foot on the gas all the time no matter the team.. im not sure how agressive he is with a lead). I think Purdue or Northwestern, among teams with really crappy D's has the best chance of turning something into a shootout. Minny I think has the worst D. Toledo is a middle road MAC team. NW (last home game) is the week before OSU and i could see us fired up riding a wave of momentum coming into that game and i think well play well. Obviously these answers could change as we see development and resolution of some strenghts and weaknesses, but right now based on my expectations, Im gonna say 48 on Toledo, 45 on Minnesota (its on the road... is the Metrodome loud when they suck?) and then 42 on NW.
