You aren't kidding about being ornery, but each comment you've made in each of the 3 Samuels commit posts has been over the top. I would suggest cooling your jets and making a comment about the kid who just committed instead of the people delivering the news to you.

I am really looking foward to him playing for us. He has been on the rise, and he is now a four star.  I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the Michigan coaching staf called him the next Adrian Peterson.

We are going to collect RB's!!!   Sounds good to me considering I cant remember the last Michigan RB to be a real playmaker on the field since Hart.  Congratulations young man.

I think Samuels plays a similar role as Chris Evans from the previous class. They're both explosive players with similar measurables. Although I think Samuels may be a bit better in terms of athletic ability, but Evans played against better competition in high school. I don't think the competition level in New Mexico is that high. It will certainly be interesting to see the competition between the two for the APB position.

RBs are also high-variance recruits. The stuff that made them successful in HS doesn't always apply in college (just ask Kevin Grady), and is also so dependent on OL. It makes sense to recruit a lot of them so that you are more likely to have a guy who will either live up to his hype or level up his game.

So, apparently a few months ago, all he had were a few group of five offers - then he went to The Opening, and had elite numbers (4.45 electronically timed 40, 142 and 138 SPARQ scores, 44.5 inch verticals) and all of a sudden, he got flooded with offers from us, TCU, Arizona, etc.

Sounds like we're getting an elite high school athlete, albeit one that did not play in a very good football state.
