Didn’t see anyone post this yet! Eyabi Anoma is eligible to run under the banner and smash Buckeyes this year!

Can't wait for the msu fansite freep.com to run an investigation into this.

Meanwhile no one has said jack shit about berger being kicked out of wisconsin.

Comparisons to Danna should be taken with a grain of salt. On the podcast the boys talked about how Danna came to UM polisher after dominating the MAC and contributed immediately. Anoma wasn’t even the best player on a lower quality team last year, and may be limited to spot duty in ‘22 unless he really turns the corner.

Because he hasn't played high level football, or been coached by anyone decent, in 3 years.  I doubt he's even in P5 game shape right now.  He has no idea what Minter's defense looks like, nor the role he's supposed to play.  He also doesn't have any idea what Michigan's academic side can do to him - his experience is such luminous universities as Alabama, Houston, and a UTenn satellite campus.

He may get some time in certain circumstances, but give the guy a break and let him get things figured out.

Yup, based on the article posted earlier in this thread and past usage of guys like him, I see him having a 2017-2018 Josh Uche kind of job, where he only comes in on third and long situations to be bat outta hell coming off the edge.  Keeps his assignments simple and lets him work his way into a bigger role if he can reliably do this smaller one

Brian said he looked at some recent videos of him playing and didn't really see much in terms of elite pass rushing skills or motor.  Certainly not that of a high 5 star prospect.  They said his more recent performance is a better indicator than his high school profile of how he'll do here.  But, as usual, Sam was more optimistic.

PFF ranks him as the #10 EDGE rusher in the 2023 class!

Mentioned at 1:22 of this video. He definitely looks athletic. :

Hopefully coach Poggi will get him an a better track in life.

I was pretty excited about our defense after the preview the other day.  The only perceived weakness was replacing two of our best edge rushers of the Harbaugh era.  Adding a former 5* with something to prove is pretty pretty good.
