I am so sorry to throw a thread hijacking / off topic comment out there, but does anyone know a good place in downtown or NW Dallas to watch the Michigan game tonight? I'm traveling. I'm desperate. The Cowboys last preseason game is on as well and that is dominating the places I've checked

Try Kay's, I forget the exit but it's in dallas right off the expressway north of 30. There's a budget suites and intown  suites right next to it. They have multiple TV's at the bar and are usually not too busy and will switch one of them to a game, if they get FS1.

If Ashlan or Ashley are working tell them the old 3rd shift security guard from next door says hi :)

I may be a Lions fan who has no love for the 49ers, but I was 100% behind Harbaugh when it came to that handshake.  Schwartz was just a whiny little shit.

Harbaugh is an insane competitor.  This rubs some people the wrong way.  Neusheisel is actually taking it pretty well now joking about it.

Harbaugh is that kid on the playground...the guy in the pickup basketball game who gets pissed if he loses.

In this politically correct world...it rubs people the wrong way.  It rubs LOSERS the wrong way.

But you know what?  Insane Competitors are the winners.  You play to win the game.

When there are doubts, there are no doubts.   Harbaugh has no doubts.

In my opinion the whole "Georgia Tech" VT Beemer confrontation was totally planned by Harbaugh.  He knew he was playing VT not GT but he did the whole thing to set Beemer up and Game him.  He won.

This is refreshing.  After seeing Dantonio do that to Hoke repeatedly, making Hoke his little bitch and causing Hoke to actually apologize because he was so intimidated....its great to see a coach not take any shit, from anyone.

Check out Bo in this clip from 1989 giving the old Mafia face slap to John Mackovic after a win:

I'm the same way. You play to win the game!
Losing at tic tac toe is one thing, failing at something you've spent a lot of time preparing for, wanting, and competing in is a great disappointment.
If we go back and forth in euchre, best three out of five or whatever, I'm going to be upset if I go down 10-9 on the last hand. Not because I'm "sore" or ~butthurt~, but because I'll ruminate about all the mistakes I made in this cerebral game over the past hour and be frustrated in myself for not bringing it home.
I've had my entire day ruined because the Pistons have lost, and entire weeks spoiled because Michigan went down, I can only imagine how insanely true competitors like Jim Harbaugh feel when they've put hours and weeks and months of preparation into that particular contest.
Winning feels better and losing is worse because I care, we care, JH cares, the team cares.

because I thought he was gloating. But after further thought and watching Schwartz act like a horse's ass wiht the Lions and the ridiculous stunt he pulled last year with the Bills, I can only say this: My bad.

Jim Schwartz is a butthead.
