Harbaugh's "Cousin" Screech Released From Jail Early
Anytime we have a legitimate chance to reference Harbaugh's appearance on "Saved By the Bell," we take it. The coach's TV cousin, Screech (Dustin Diamond), was released from a Wisconsin jail today, a month early. He had been sentenced to four months in jail for his role in a barroom stabbing.
Diamond earned his early release by serving as a jailhouse custodian. And if he learned anything from his cousin, I'm sure he scrubbed those toilets with an Enthusiasm Unknown to Mankind.

And once more, here's Harbaugh's epic appearance on SBTB:

...Are you really trying to claim that Dustin Diamond's incarceration status and "socially conscientious clothing" aren't extremely worthwhile and interesting topics to discuss on a Michigan sports blog?
That's just ridiculous. I came to the site today specifically hoping that the latest on Screech and everybody's bamboo sweater tips would be covered.

Wait until we talk about Justin Beiber and Salena Gomez.
only after he sits out for 2 regular-season practices, or one FULL (!!!) summer of practices...
When Jay Harbaugh was a little kid, did his friends think it was cooler that his dad was an NFL quarterback, or that his dad was on Saved by the Bell?

If he was sentenced to 120 days, he got out after 90 because that's what happens in jail there in Wisconsin. It was not because he was a "jailhouse janitor." You get out after 75% of your time for good behavior. If you end up being a trustee (a jail worker), you get a day less for each day you work. Don't ask me how I know this.
