Have a few Short's Moher Stouts and a Guinness waiting for me after work.
And hopefully some soda bread and shepherd's pie later.
Happy St. Paddy's day to all!
There once was a man named mckeever,
who made love to a beaver.
the result of that muck
was a canvas back duck,
two canoes and a golden retriever!

while making love to his wife on the stair,
the bannister broke
so he quickened his stroke,
and he finished the deed in mid-air
Oh, aye, aye, yi-yi, your brother eats bat guano off stop signs,
so lets have another verse that's worse than the other verse and waltz me around by my........

There once was a man from Belaire, who was banging his wife on the stair...on the fifty-third stroke, the banister broke, so he finished her off in mid-air.

Best big event of the year for us of Irish descent. Well, the parade is anyways. We have a great one here in Montreal, one of the oldest in North America and gets about 500,000 spectators.
I'll be wearing kelly green, a lovely colour - except during football season, when it gets banished. UM shirt underneath of course.
ND fans are what I really think of as poseur Irish. Even the Irish ones. To hell with them.

Well a Scotsman clad in kilt left a bar on evening fair
And one could tell by how we walked that he drunk more than his share
He fumbled round until he could no longer keep his feet
Then he stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street
About that time two young and lovely girls just happend by
And one says to the other with a twinkle in her eye
See yon sleeping Scotsman so strong and handsome built
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt
They crept up on that sleeping Scotsman quiet as could be
Lifted up his kilt about an inch so they could see
And there behold, for them to see, beneath his Scottish skirt
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth
They marveled for a moment, then one said we must be gone
Let's leave a present for our friend, before we move along
As a gift they left a blue silk ribbon, tied into a bow
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show
Now the Scotsman woke to nature's call and stumbled towards a tree
Behind a bush, he lift his kilt and gawks at what he sees
And in a startled voice he says to what's before his eyes.
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize

No one is at work. I wonder why?...
I'm at work. I'm just not doing work though.
Patients don't appreciate liquid lunches for their physician's anymore :(
If you can find this ...
it is very fine, much stronger than its cousin and with a more pronounced roasted malt flavor. And rumored that Guinness still uses the traditional method of retaining old wort for new batches, unlike the draught. Raising one to the mgoblog community now.
