The group chat that "kept the band together"

When Blake decided to come back I suspected that this team would have both talent and experience, and a chance to do something great. This article talks about how a group chat involving multi-year players following Mikey's initial announcement before the '22 Big Ten championship game that he was coming back -- involving Jenkins, Zinter, Sainristil, Keegan, and Barrett (and Blake) -- solidified their joint commitment to come back and finish what they started.

My group chat solidified commitment to heavy adult beverage consumption while rooting for Michigan Football as the national champs come Monday evening.

Stark similarity in commitment to Michigan Football.

As has been posted many times here, Saban commented on the maturity of Michigan being a major factor in the Rose Bowl.

Thank you for the link, and thank you to the Daily.  ("Thank you to the Daily" is a personal mea culpa for all the times I whined about them as a student in the 80s.)

Was thinking about that too - shades of BYU on this team.  There is a difference between being 22 and 19 especially with Herbert on the scene.  Lots of those very talented 5* over at Bama are 18-19-20.  Can offset some of that by being talented (not quite 5*) but older.  Also the development system can add half a star or a full star over 4-5 years.
