Just beat me to it!  Wow is this fantastic. Parents, get your Kleenex box ready, it's about to get dusty in the room.  What an amazing human being; we are so lucky to have been able to cheer for this young man!

Great article - I highly encourage everyone to read.

So happy that he and his family love Michigan as much as (or probably more than) I do.

Talking about 42-27 last year:

"Aidan was in the midst of a day on which he generated what is a Pro Football Focus record, 15 QB hurries, and he eventually stood behind the bench and mouthed up to his parents, 'They can't block me.'"

"It was then that Chris officially knew his sack record was toast. And it was. Aidan finished the game with three sacks and ended 2021 with a new school record of 14."

But what I want to know is how in the world Aidan was so dominant against those Pro-caliber OT's with his short arms? /s

I thought the dance history was interesting. Chris and Melissa must be reasonably liberated and not too uptight.

Growing up, one of my friends was blocked from that activity after expressing some interest. His parents were afraid he'd end up adopting an alternative lifestyle. (Didn't happen, in case anyone is curious.)

Aidan... with two of the letter A. (grumble).

This is a great read!

Kid has the perfect combination: Dad's athletic gene pool, Mom's unquestioned love and support, a drive to succeed (a/k/a "ambition"), a refusal to be crushed by setbacks and failures, and a physical presence that supports his ambitions. Set a goal, achieve the goal.

My fav play from last year?  Hutch blasting the big ass Buckeye tackle on his butt.  It looked like he launched him with a WWE wrestling move.  Let's make it two in a row against the evil empire.
