No insider information, just saw the tweet. Sounds like he had a good time.
One note is that when someone mentions that its cold in the comments, he responds with "We talking heavy coat cold??? Or hoodie w zip up over cold?"

Edit: I'm dumb and saw his tweet and assumed he had just visited. Oops.
It reads: ANN ARBOR TURN ME UP THIS WEEKEND ?〽️〽️〽️〽️

Never trust a man with two first names.
November 20th, 2019 at 2:31 PM ^
Or a woman with two male first names.
November 20th, 2019 at 3:25 PM ^
or anyone named "Lola"
November 20th, 2019 at 4:09 PM ^
Or a woman with a twig and berries!
November 20th, 2019 at 5:29 PM ^
My good friend spent an evening of very “romantic” slow dancing in Chicago with a very tall beautiful woman who happened to have large hands and a prominent adam’s apple.
When he finally came up for air and and joined us for a cold beer at the bar he claimed the no twig and berries examination was conclusively in his favor.
It’s been a fun point of discussion over the years.
November 20th, 2019 at 6:27 PM ^
“His favor” doesn’t answer the question as to what he was hoping his examination would find.
November 20th, 2019 at 8:31 PM ^
One could speculate.

He hasn’t had his visit yet. It is this weekend.
November 20th, 2019 at 1:42 PM ^
Oh wow, I feel dumb. His tweet made it sound like he had a good visit.
November 20th, 2019 at 2:00 PM ^
I believe "turn" was an imperative:
"Ann Arbor, turn me up this weekend."
Not a misspelled past participle:
"Ann Arbor turned me up this weekend."
Please make a note for your files.

I made a note & filed it under "gibberish".
November 20th, 2019 at 4:09 PM ^
But did he has a good time or not?
November 20th, 2019 at 1:40 PM ^
The visit is this upcoming weekend. He’ll be there for the Houston Baptist game.
November 20th, 2019 at 1:42 PM ^
Hopefully more than a few hundred people are at the game.
November 20th, 2019 at 1:57 PM ^
I'll be there with decent seats from StubHub- row 24 for $6 each plus fees. 2 tickets for less than $20 total. Now the lower bowl will be 60% empty..... I have been to every game for less than $10 including fees. I don't mind watching some of the big games on TV and skipping the PSD and season tickets.
The athletic department is botching basketball big time. Probably fine on revenue but what a crappy atmosphere for every game but the top handful. The need to penalize no shows - but never will.
November 20th, 2019 at 2:23 PM ^
I have season tickets but might try your method next year. It is very frustrating to see the lower bowl half empty during most games.
November 20th, 2019 at 2:35 PM ^
After moving back to Ann Arbor two years ago I purchased season tickets and the primary reason I dropped them was an empty lower bowl - all while I was paying for tickets and a PSD. My family has had tickets at Crisler since they opened - my sister has those now - and I am a huge MBB fan but I feel like they treat the average basketball fan like crap.
I get a survey after every football game, but have never received one asking me about my basketball experience.

We need him, Dickinson, and Lander.
November 20th, 2019 at 2:08 PM ^
Hoping Lander stays in the 2021 class. He fits our needs better waiting a year IMO.

The people that whine about cold in November - referencing what the OP said - are quick to forget that the snow was rare for us and more often than not it is considerably milder than it has been lately. Now, if you want something to whine about, our yearly "January Is The Month Of Winter Desolation" special is it....
November 20th, 2019 at 5:55 PM ^
January is usually fine. February is the most absurd 28 days of the year.
November 21st, 2019 at 5:53 AM ^
January is worse than February no doubt.
November 21st, 2019 at 4:05 PM ^
Perhaps In isolation, but by the time you get to February you’ve already been beaten down by January. The effect is cumulative, making February the more difficult month to handle.
It’s like running. One sub-2:00 800 is not noteworthy, Two in a row is.
November 20th, 2019 at 5:15 PM ^
...Except his visit hasn’t started yet!
