Getting late Friday night drinking thread
I am finishing my Christmas pack I made, Flying Dog K-9, Great Lakes Christmas Ale, and Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of Christmas.
Have to finish the good shit before family covers over next weekend, guess it is time to go pick up some Yuengling.

Great river roller dam red ale. Picked it up at the local liquor superstore today.
Already moved thru 3 16 oz cans as I watch parkinggod's highlights. Should I finish off the pack?

Grand Macnish. It is the cheapest and yet the best scotch I've ever had. No kidding, this is good shit. I think I've found a favorite scotch.

what do you think of Lagavulin?

I don't know, never had it. I'm too cheap to go looking for the way-fancy single-malts like that for the purposes of just basic drinking at home. Whatever's on the shelf at the local liquor store or CVS and doesn't look like it'll cost me $50. I mean, this Macnish stuff, which I'd never heard of til I decided to give it a spin, it wasn't even $15. I think it was closer to $9 or $10. And it tastes like it oughta be $50.

Gurnsey Eggnog, because I'm back in Michigan for the holidays. Nothing beats the way it pours, or the 500 calories per glass.

That's what I was enjoying last night, as well! Except, I loaded it up with some fine Guatamalen rum, because ... like ... it's delicious.
