It was a fine moment in Wolverine history and I have been a fan for nealy 40 years. This was great sportsmanship in a time where you do not see a lot of that.
I know he had his problems on the field, but this is beyond that, those who do not understand, well, that's sad.

DG is a fine young man we should all be proud of.
DG and none of us were happy with the season, but its time to move forward and look forward to the 2015 season.

I think Gardner will go far in life, he's smart, has a good heart and by what I can gather selfless. I think he never expected his "Herbie moment" to get big like this nor I don't think he did for any personal gains. He's just a good guy.

Don't know who these "back in the day, we didn't give a damn about some OSU player" people are, but they couldn't be more clueless.
Guys, even if Bo Schembechler himself told you to hurt someone, that wouldn't make it right to do. It's really not hard...
These people probably live next door to you.
Think about that for a second.

Right on DG!
I'm all for trying to destroy the other team in between the whistles. But being man enough to know when to be human, is important to the big picture. It takes wisdom to know the difference. And experienced leaders teach that to the young guys.
Thanks for being classy and setting a standard DG.
And to the guy who thinks this was a calculated photo op: You sir, are an ass of the highest order.

Can't we all just get along?... Save the vitriol for politics.
