Gameday to Columbus Next Week
In the least shocking news in the history of the world, College Gameday will be at Columbus next week for the showdown between the University of Michigan and Ohio State Unversity.
You ready, Columbus?!

Alas, why must we be so damn popular

Desmond picks Michigan and gets booed, we all see that coming. Does Herbstreit really pick Michigan while sitting on that stage?! I can't see it happening but I'll give him some kudos and acknowledge his marbles* if he does.
*"G'day large testicles, I bid you adieu"

He’ll pick OSU. He’ll say something along the lines of us looking bad vs Indiana changed his tone. Picks the Buckeyes in a close one.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:45 PM ^
I think Herbstreit will pick Michigan. Not that it matters.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:55 PM ^
Right with you on this. He'll hype OSU's re-emergent offense and MI's D having issues to support his pick.
I'd also expect Corso to wax nostalgic about putting on the nut head and do it again.

Herbstreit is not all that well-liked by OSU fans. I don't think fear of their reaction will factor into his pick.
Not that it matters what Herbstreit thinks.

He has that common flaw that [Our Enemies] hate. (Enemies being political, social, religious, etc.)
He's smarter than them. ?

I think I heard Herby moved his family to Nashville because the fans in Ohio were being mean to them
November 17th, 2018 at 9:40 PM ^
Makes sense. I don’t think any game next week has as much on the line as UofM-OSU.

WVU Oklahoma with the possibility of a rematch had ESPN begging for drama...then WVU lost to Okie State.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:00 PM ^
Plus West Virginia and Oklahoma is being played Friday, make them ineligible for GameDay.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:06 PM ^
Ah, didn't realize that.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:01 PM ^
WVU totally f#cked that away. WVU went for it on 4th inside the 20-ish with like 5 minutes left in the game and didn’t get the TD, instead of kicking a FG. WVU ended the game inside the red zone needing a TD to win. How big were those three points?
November 18th, 2018 at 9:02 AM ^
I think you have that completely backwards actually. They went for it on 4th and did get the touchdown to go up 41-31.
They still lost the game obviously and blowing a 10 point lead with 5 minutes left still means you screwed something up, but I believe they did score the touchdown on that 4th down.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:09 AM ^
ya gotta love Big 12 football. Do they ever have an important game in that conference that doesn't end like 48-45 or some ridiculous score like that?

Perfect crappy field to place the spotlight on the revenge tour. Football justice has been scheduled for months now, it will be a joyous Saturday for fans of the high character Michigan program!
November 17th, 2018 at 9:46 PM ^
Gameday signs will have no dearth of material from which to draw.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:48 PM ^
Sign diary will be up soon
November 17th, 2018 at 9:49 PM ^
Surely the decision was made following the WVU loss to Okie State.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:53 PM ^
Can't wait to crack some beers while watching it.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:55 PM ^
Should be a big party...
November 17th, 2018 at 9:58 PM ^
Down with Ohio
November 17th, 2018 at 10:18 PM ^
If someone could pull off delivering Papa Johns to the GameDay crew on set, they should get a night of beers with murderwolf.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:27 PM ^
Let's Go Blue! Beat TTDS!!
November 17th, 2018 at 11:19 PM ^
The way it should be.
There's simply nothing in American sports that compares to Michigan-Ohio State. It deserves to have everything on the line. And it properly gets Gameday this week.
Now, there's only one thing that needs to happen.

Sorry if already posted (this is over a year old), but if you go, look for the maize and blue in the rotunda.
November 18th, 2018 at 7:44 AM ^
99.9% of the entire viewing audience will be rooting for Michigan. Ohio State and Urban Meyer are the most hated team/coach in the country, and for good reason.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:10 AM ^
99.9 is a little high as we know all the sparties will be rooting for OSU.
November 18th, 2018 at 2:01 PM ^
I rounded.
It's actually 99.87, but the extra digit would confuse the hell out of the Sparties.

Titanic sinks! Seriously tho, the B1G taking the show on rivalry week says a lot IMO.
