yeah I was gonna post to the roundtable thread not to get cocky/complacent; can't take anything for granted.

we have the least wins of anyone in the bracket; arguably one of the best teams, tho, when we stay focussed and disciplined to keep with the flow of the game, w/ precision & accuracy--

Go Blue!!  you can totally do this

Gotta defend the 3pt line against these guys. Michigan with a good size advantage. Colorado St. with the shooting from distance advantage so far.

So far the smaller lineup is killing the bigger one. Hunter is terrible at defending the perimeter and he’s not giving enough on offense to make up for it. Diabate is even worse.

jeez. 4 3's already? cant we defend outside? theyre not a big team, so no reason to pack the lane. im watching on the interwebs (gamecast). but every time i look up. another 3! geez. i hope they get over their excitement and csu settles down a bit.

Our size advantage is insane. Gotta push it and not allow them time to set and pack it in.

We just look bad on D. Confused, lazy, not communicating.

Defense hasn’t been too bad, but they gotta stop switching Brooks and Houstan onto Roddy. Not much you can do if guys are going to drill three straight triples over Dickinson.

while we're here.. i clicked box score and isaiah barnes name popped up. isnt he one of the froshies? has he played at all? is he just not ready? forgot completely about him. not saying that he should play today - just wondering where he's been

seen this game before.  M dysfunctional the moment, no 3s, turnovers, letting OREBs against a team half your size.  this could get ugly without your senior PG.

another turnover. yeesh. they should feed hunter until we open up shots. i know we dont hit many, but thats gota be the strategy if he's out there.

Good god, does Csu just shoot 3's only?!

It would be cool to hit 3s since I doubt we can actually play defense at a decent level the whole game.

We really need to dominate the glass this game. They are so undersized.

FFS, Diabate and Houstan brought their shit for brains game today.

We need to make them take crappy looking 3's and we should be able to win this game but we're not rebounding or handling the ball well at all.

Initial thoughts so far:

1.  Our defensive rebounding is pathetic.  So many DRebs for CSU.

2.  We don't have a go to guy anything close to Roddy.  Every good team has a go to guy.  We don't.

3.  Houston is still lost.  He really could have benefitted from a year in which he only played limited bench minutes.  Tons of freshmen are just not ready, and many end up having awesome careers, but he really needs to develop his game before next season.
