It's been a mixed bag for me tonight with the booze. Started with a couple Warsteiner pilsners, then moved to a Bombay Sapphire martini (dry, up, two olives and of course stirred, never shaken). Now sipping Buffalo Trace and watching some Tour de France.

Just got some M-43 out here in AZ. Not easy to find. And $15.99 for 4 pints. But I like it, one of my faves. Watching The Open replays.
I generally don't like watching The Open on TV. It always feels like it has suddenly turned to fall when I watch: windy, brown, chilly, players in long sleeves. At least the course this year is green and it looks warm, so it doesn't immediately transport me to early November in Michigan like it usually does.
I like the views of the course, pretty wild that there are so few trees and just grass and small hills.
I get up at 3am PST to watch for a couple hours, then get sleepy and go back to bed. Love it. Go Louie.
I'm really digging Canada Dry's ginger ale lemonade.
Schweppes made a grape ginger ale many moons ago and it was the bomb. Made a great mixer for summer drinks.
I have one of those zero-alcohol Heinekens and I am currently giving another few hours to the Animal Crossing island that I started last week...finally, after my daughter said I should. I am actually having some fun with this, oddly enough - I did not think I would initially. I've already turned this into a dumbed down experiment in how many of my typical SimCity policies can be implemented in what is supposed to be a cutesy simulation.
That game will get you. I bought it just so I could have something to play with my sister. Now I check in every day to dig up fossils and buy furniture that I've never owned before from the store. It's become part of my daily routine.

All Worked Up from Crux in Bend was awful. Chardonnay barrel aged wheat wine. High alcohol 12.5%, low hops, light, fruity. Kind of a tripel but good riddance. Glad to have it out of my stash. Had to chase it with a few tokes and a Backwoods Bastard. Feeling just fine now.

So fucking wasted right now. Many Switchbacks. Also weed , since we can really just smoke at the bar here. My beloved hippie state. My killer pool game is back--I dazzled onlookers. And I successfully seduced a much younger woman. On this night, everything came up Clarence. About to eat some Kentucky Fried Chicken-style chicken I bought earlier and some Pringles sour cream chips.
Hell yeah.
After an awesome Thai dinner in Chicago, broke out a Half Acre Parrot of Paradise IPA. Very tasty. Hazy, but not a really fruity taste profile.
Drinking horrible beer in Vegas. It's great!
