I'm not ashamed to admit I like my whiskey over the rocks. Gentleman Jack doesn't stand up well with ice, imo. What about you? Neat?
My buddy only drinks Jack and coke so when I'm at his place, its all we drink and its very good, so not knocking Jack Daniels.

was in a place a long way from civilization where we had either no contact/cell/email, or only satellite phone was available and that only for emergency. fortunately we had none of those.

reposting the meme. no idea why it disappeared. wine (or beer) is a pleasure, just don't overdo it. remember, in John 2 He made water into wine and it was part of the last meal. our baptist friends are incorrect on that issue. but we love them nevertheless.
EDIT: so it disappeared again. weird. everyone will like this one though, had the family dancing around on the greatest hype video of all time just a minute ago, the james earl jones one. epic.

Homebrewed double IPA. ??
I would say the good stuff but I drank it last night(Lagunitas Super Cluster) so I’ve got a Trader Joe’s Boatswain Double IPA. Hi alcohol, Lo price, tastes ok. Looking forward to MY start of football season tomorrow. ETM (read usher) training in the Big House with new jackets for the first time in ~ 10 years , maybe a better shirt also ... hate the Nike drifit (aka stank fit that snags if you look at it wrong).

Addendum, cleaniing the kitchen and killing fruit flies while drinking with Spotify on the headphones. Their algorithm for predicting what I will like in their Weekly Spotlight is damn good. Maybe it’s the Friday drinking or my good mood but I’ve only “skipped” about four or five in an hour.
