After graduating with honors they took the time to share a short benediction so this is a time of solace. Many smiles were shared at the appropriate time.

From what I've been told by friends who are nurses, I'd have guessed that they were too exhausted to smile.

She did an accelerated program and got it all done in 9 months. She could not say in hindsight if she would do it again this way but she has always been the person who jumps in and teaches herself to swim.

DANG that's a hell of an accelerated program. My wife begins her masters of nursing at UVA in May. We thought the 2 year program was gonna be accelerated as it was. Geez.

It has a significant drop out rate. However the upside is a number employers seek out these graduates in the KC area. It took its toll but at the time she valued getting into the market sooner and the cost savings.

That's a helluva job then graduating with honors! Congrats dad! My wife's program also is a Clinical Nurse Leader program so she'll be in fairly high demand as well when she gets out. In the meantime we hustlin...

Several years ago I worked at Wayne State's College of Nursing. In my completely unbiased opinion, nurses are badasses. Whenever I've been in the hospital, they are the ones who gave the majority of the care and got me the information I needed. (Like, "What do they think is really wrong with me?") I'm not dogging doctors in the least, but God Bless Nurses.

Post Partum (Mom Baby Nurse) - She has loved kids since being a kid. Her care giver from 5 on was our surrogate Grandmother to all 3 children and a former nurse before running a daycare. At 9 she PAID our child to help with the babies and we were told she did a better job then most of the adults on staff.
Big reason she choose nursing.

My cardiologist had a letter published in the Wall Street Journal about how a nurse was the only person who figured out his infant grandchild was born with hemophilia.

God Bless you and your daughter! My dad has been in ICU for the last 5 weeks and I am certain that there is a special place for nurses. They have been so overwhelmingly kind to my father and compasionate. While it is a horrible situation they are truly amazing. Nurses have all of my admoration and respect.

Wish I had a pic of my plate. HL2VCS with the block M in Virginia. Also one of those frames with all 4 Detroit teams and UM logos. It's one of those that if you know, you know. If you don't, you might think it's just a regular plate.

Posbang Friday! Got more of my Michigan ‘23 gear today to rock out in downtown Columbus. “Michigan Beat Everybody” and a black and white blow up pic of the iconic Blake the Great himself with the blood in color running down his face. Cannot wait to go out this weekend!

As a fellow Columbus resident I am sure you will know that weekdays downtown during working hours are the only time you will be able to show off your Michigan gear to the plebes because that place is a boring ass ghost town on nights and weekends

100%. Most of them on the weeknights are at Roosters, which is a lot of fun now sitting at the bar. Unfortunately these next couple weeks become very slow and then picks up at around St. Pattys.
