Forde - The Dash just doesn't get it
He starts out pretty level headed. Then sinks into
- "Bo would choke on his gum" and
- " Mostly, this means that the atmosphere in Ann Arbor is even more toxic than we knew"

wrote Forde an email, in the most polite tone I could possibly muster. I broke it down for him the best way I could, and commented that I was disappointed that someone in his position would accept an article full of so many jounalistic fallacies at face value. I am eager to see if he responds.

Honestly, the first time in about 3 years that he hasnt mocked us for no reason and spit on the Big Ten needlessly.

with you more. I would die from shock if Forde ever had one thing positive to say about Michigan or even the Big ten for that matter. I simply cannot stand biased reporters. I know it happens all the time, but it does not make it right. The journalistic integrity is thrown right out the door, when you allow such biased opinions to go to print. With that said, I really cannot stand the prick.

Forde and Schlabach are two of the worst writers at ESPN. They are chock full of great baseball and NFL writers, but weak on college football and the NBA. Maisel and Feldman aren't bad, but Feldman is premium. Forde and Schlabach really appear quite dumb.

after I read this. Total garbage. Also the ESPN chat with Mark Schlabach was awful as well with him showing he knows nothing about the situation.

I'm sure I'm not saying anything that BHGP hasn't already said, but I can't stand Forde's column. Ever. Period.
Mainly it's the stupid Dashettes bit, and the taking pictures with girls on campuses he visits, as if he's really such a ladykiller. I really don't care if chicks come up in sports columns (like Mandel's Mailbag Crush, that's fine, doesn't keep me from reading him), but Forde doesn't actually ever have anything of value to say. It's just pathetic.
