Looks like West Virginia a bit the yellow that Nike does is a little off to me, kinda wanted to see what Nike would come up with for pro combat wise. Those lime state atrocities were butt ugly tho.

We are a Jordan school not a Nike school so we won’t be getting pro combat uniforms. Jordan is owned by Nike but operates with autonomy.

Didn’t realize they were autonomous. Seeing as all the stuff I have bought in the last few years had the swoosh on it. Either way my sentiment remains I’d like to see what they’d come up with, meant to imply that I realize they won’t come up with anything.

It has a swoosh on it because Nike still owns Jordan and Jordan doesn’t operate within the framework of all sports. So we’re a “Nike” school that doesn’t have Nike working on outfitting football or basketball. Their subsidiary, Jordan, takes those. So you’ll never see pro combat uniforms because Nike doesn’t outfit our football program. In fact, sponsoring Michigan football was the first time Jordan has ventured into a sport other than basketball.

For a team, that’s correct. They sponsored quite a few football players in the NFL first. Hence Charles Woodson convincing Jim and Michigan over any other contract to date! In fact, players got fined by the NFL for wearing Jordan cleats, and not Nike cleats. It wasn’t even close to the first time Jordan ventured outside basketball! Don’t speculate, investigate. It’s obvious, Nike thought Jordan guys could wear Jordan Cleats, Michigan’s contract was nearing an end, so Woodson stepped in and Made Michigan the first school!

No chance we wear the "pro combat" uniforms as Nike calls them. However, we are a Nike school that has Jordan logos on our Nike Football Jerseys, Basketball Jerseys, and those two sports also wear Jordan Brand shoes.
