a few things from practice today

Per Rivals:

Obi Ezeh has been playing both the Mike LB and the Sam LB. When he plays Mike, Marrell Evans plays outside, and when Ezeh plays Sam, John Thompson plays inside. RR said he prefers Ezeh inside, but wants him to be comfortable with both. Panter is playing the other LB spot.

Brandon Harrison seems to be the starting safety, but plays the slot corner when we go to nickel and dime, with Charles Stewart coming into the safety spot. Cissoko has been the dime back.

i honestly can't remember him ever really lining up in man. i remember him playing solid zone (speed gets him to the ball quickly) and blitzing like hell.

He got torched once against Oregon. He played really well in coverage vs. Northwestern, and someone else (I seem to remember Brian being complimentary of him, noting he had turned into a solid contributor after a shaky start). You're right, though, for a CB he had alot of TFL's (more than 10) last year, because he proved to have a great nose for blowing up screens.

Sample size aside, Harrison was the 4th fastest high school sprinter in the nation when he was a senior. So, he's fast.

Harrison was ranked in the 60 meter. Which I didn't realize existed until I read that fact. But whatever.

Hey Colin- Any time you have to start out a post, "Not to be a bitch" it means you're being a little bitch. They had a competition to see who was fastest on the team, and Harrison won. If you want to argue sample size take the Giants Super Bowl Trophy and crown the Pats last year's Super Bowl Champs. Jesus fucking Christ I can't wait for football season and all you know it all's who have to dispute every little statement can have something else to do than nit pick so much. And did I not say that didn't include the freshmen? Trent beat Ginn Jr. in HS, Harrison beat Trent. I think everyone's in agreement that Ginn was fast, thereby making our secondary fast as hell this year. Is that better? Seriously, I'm gonna go buy a donkey, sit a TV with an endless loop of Buckeye highlights on it's back, and stand behind it so it periodically kicks me in the nuts. Why? Because that's more enjoyable than having to justify some of this shit. Not to be a bitch? fuck off.

can't we all just get along? maybe we should have periodic returns to haloscan where 2/3 of the comments read along the lines of "my balls itch" Harrison is fast. Trent is fast. Lets hope they make some plays this year.

Come on- you know I don't call people out on a regular basis- starting out with "Not to be a bitch but...." is just asking for it. Certain people don't know any better- you do and were just being an ass.
