Feel good content: Jake Butt and Denard long walk & talk interview

This is a great distraction from all the drama. Just Jake Butt and Denard walking around the Athletic campus; talking, reminiscing, and sharing stories about their teams. Worth a watch.

Thanks for sharing, I didn't expect to hear shout outs to Fred Jackson and Nick Sheridan. Denard is a legend, so glad to have him back in Ann Arbor.

That is two really likeable dudes right there. So happy to see them both having success now off the field and continuing to be great ambassadors for the program. Thanks for posting!

I absolutely love Denard Robinson, and I always will. During those bleak years, he was something very special on the field, and made every game he was in worth watching.

Is this something that Michigan / Jake Butt have been saving to release?   The reason I ask is - it looks pleasantly warm when it was filmed / videoed.

The vignette about Denard and a snowball fight in Michigan Stadium during his OV adds some great color.   It brings back memories of Michigan v ND games when Denard just lit things up.  His smile and play was electric.  He really seemed to be having fun - and, that's a characteristic which seems to be shared with this year's squad.

I don't know if I should say this - with all the "other stuff" being discussed in other threads, this touches on the topic of "improper benefits".    Yes, it involves Denard.

As you know, waiting in line for breakfast / lunch / dinner in a dorm cafeteria is part of college life.  However, "improper benefits" does cross the line.  So, what happened?    When Denard was "lighting things up" on the field - he would go to the cafeteria in South Quad - and students would allow Denard to "cut in line" - so, he wouldn't have to wait as long to enjoy the incredible delicacies being served by the South Quad staff.   However, once his performance on the field came "more back down to earth" - fellow students had him wait in line just like everyone else.

Tempting the NCAA isn't something I like to do.  Being clear and distinct is critical to ethics.  Hopefully, the NCAA doesn't look into this "cutting in line at the South Quad cafeteria" in great depth.  My fear is - it could lead to the reinstatement of the Death Penalty.   Oh the humanity.
