ESPN Uni Watch on endzones - Michigan featured

Submitted by Sambojangles on

Michigan is featured twice in the most recent Uni Watch column on road team names/artwork in endzones. The beginning focuses on NFL games, but there are at least two examples of Michigan games: 1968 @ OSU, "MICH" was painted in the endzone at Ohio Stadium, and in the 1995 Pigskin classic (Lloyd Carr's first game), "VIRGINIA" was in the endzone for a home game (though technically designated a netrual-site game).

Are there any other examples?

My first hourly job was at Taco Bell on Ford Road in Garden City. $3.35/hour and disco burnt orange uni, circa 1983-84. I thought I was rich!!

Stuff I ate then I wouldn't touch now, but I still hit the drive thru when I'm on the road in a pinch. Spicy bean burrito and 7 layer burrito, no sour cream, w/green sauce, two fire on each and I'm good to go.

Green sauce is a great hidden menu add-on, but not all carry it.

I'd prefer La Shish (many locations in MI, now closed) or Mediterranean Garden (A2, open still?), but take out would be cold by the time it got to Portland.
