Edwards factoids courtesy of ESPN

The Wolverines were held to just 10 yards rushing in the first half, but Edwards exploded in the second half with 170 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, which was the most by a Power 5 player since Jamaal Charles did it for Texas in 2007 against Nebraska.

Edwards also became the first player in Michigan history to record multiple 75-yard touchdown runs in a single game and his final tally of 216 rushing yards is the second-most by a Michigan player against the Buckeyes all time, behind Tim Biakabutuka's 313 yards in 1995.

i posted this earlier, hunted this a.m., nothing doing.  but when the game came on i was just way too antsy and in the first quarter went back out.  shot a deer, gutted and skinned it as my best effort at an old testament sacrificial offering to the Almighty to defeat the forces of satan.  apparently it worked.  deer carcass hanging in the barn aging.  will butcher it up in a couple of days.

i should add that i was back and cleaned up enough to see the last 5 minutes of the game.  freaking glorious.

Donovan Edwards grew as a runner this year. This was the exclamation point. His five-star speed was on display, but he learned how to read the line and find the hole this year. That's great coaching by Mike Hart.

DE is awesome and we will be explosive next year. Stokes will make the sophomore jump next year..

Mike Hart gets all the credit for turning this running game into a beast. What a coach!
