Yeah, they mostly suck, but I need something to interest me in them and kill time before GAME time. And it'll start getting us in the swing of things to do this so I'll have a bitching late night game thread to come home to after the game with the GOOD games then.

Northwestern gave up a long run down to the 5 yard line but managed to hold BC to a field goal. In a minute we'll see how their offense works without Dan Persa.

It's unknown at this point but hopefully he'll be back soon. He is supposed to play this season after rupturing his achilles tendon in last year's Iowa game. There were rumors during fall camp that he was still limping. Apparently those reports are correct that he still hasn't fully recovered.

Yeah it should be a competitive game but it sounds very unexciting with such a quiet crowd. Part of that might be the BC crowd but I think part of it is the crowd mic isn't very good (or some other technical problem).
Does your audio keep going silent for about half a second or is that just my crappy cable?
