Why does Duke have to pay players to go to...Duke ?
November 10th, 2019 at 1:22 AM ^
So they don't go to Kentucky, Kansas, UNC or Louisville

Also because these kids are not going to Duke for actual "school" - which normal people would pay to do

Do you mean because Nike pays the players for them? Because you can’t mean that Dook is clean.

Oh, that's precious. Please tell us what a good man Coach K is.
You have a way with words:

I really need to ask?

I don’t know if I completely understand why this is a violation. But regardless, I feel like changes are coming to the NCAA, and all for the better I hope.

I guess a coach from a big name program could signal intent to sign a player (whether truthful or not) in an attempt to get other schools to decide not to spend limited recruiting time on going after that player. For kids who haven't even signed yet, this could screw around with their recruitment process. I'm probably completely wrong and missing something obvious.

Absolutely. This would never happen at Michigan!
