No idea. I was looking for the same thing. I doubt it's televised but I was wondering if there wasn't somebody at least live blogging or tweeting out the results in real time.

the draft for the spring game. If I were Harbaugh, not only would I not want this televised, I would not want any coverage nor the players aware of who was selected when. It should be done privately and the rosters of each team posted after the selections.

I don't know man. If he's all about accountability and if they figure the draft order will get leaked anyway, why not make a big thing out of it? If the kids knew in advance that the whole thing would be public they'd be pushing themselves in spring practice even more, no? Kind of reminds me of Michigan Law School back in the day. Apparently before my time they had the "Wailing Wall" where they pretty much posted everybody's grades on a wall for all to see. When I was there they still did it but used confidential student ID codes. I presume now they just email the results. But the point is, if everybody knows that everybody will know, it spurs on competition. Isn't that Harbaugh's whole premise in coaching his squads?

And to clarify: I don't think it's televised. Not a big enough audience of us degenerates to merit it probably. But at least some type of live stream or live blogging or release of the results.

They should all gather on a baseball diamond and have the captains announce each pick as the person picked goes and stands behind their captain, 6th grade kickball style.

The point isn't really "entertainment." The point of all those things is so some people can make money.

I do not see a "Michigan spring game draft" drawing all that many viewers. Therefore, I doubt it would make much money.

So my question still stands. What would be the point?

To earn advertising revenue for the station airing the draft. Which is exactly why it won't be televised. Not enough eyeballs interested. But I could easily see a blogger or Michigan insider that wants clicks and retweets asking for access so they can put the results out there.

"I do not care who kills who now."

This is no longer Brady Hoke's Michigan.
