High ankle sprain is 4-5 weeks of rest/PT, then conditioning to get back in shape, then practice, then game.  Could be mid-season before DPJ is back to full strength, which is a bummer but he should be back for the meat of the schedule - Penn State would be just about right, maybe Illinois in a limited role to knock off the rust.

Man, I hope DPJ isn't next in the line of elite recruits who could never show what they're capable of here.

Well if you've watched the poor ball-handling and poor tackling from a ton of teams in week 1. Pick your poison.

I just watched NORTHWESTERN of all teams set what had to be a school record in missed tackles. Stanford with two fumbles on zone reads.

Before everyone shits themseves, this is probably just precautionary.  He was walking around on the telecast without a limp.  UM knows this is just a cupcake/baby seal/tomato can game.

So is this a thing, officially? I remember when Herbert was announced that many Arkansas fans were saying they had an issues with feet specifically. Even found the old /r/cfb thread where people were talking about it -

"prepare to have your top RB/WR's hurt in practice before the season starts for years to come... mostly from broken feet".

DPJ has a sprained ankle and will be out approximately two weeks it’s not a huge deal.

Donovan Jeter is out for “another” reason don’t believe it to be too long for his return .
