Donovan spotted in AA?

That tweet was sent out yesterday by Kent Sterling, an Indianapolis sports radio personality.
He was jokingly referencing when Donovan was reported to be with his wife in Bloomington during Indiana's 2017 coaching search. Donovan mentioned the next day that he was at practice during that time in OKC.

I bet this didn't happen. I went there with my wife once. We walked in, smelled the place, walked out and drove downtown to eat dinner. That place is a dump.

Yeah, going to have to disagree with you on that one. I can see you not being a fan of German food (though I am), but I really don’t see how it’s a dump. It’s a neat little place, some might think the decor is tacky. But the food is good and you can’t beat imported Deutsche Bier.

There are some really nice subdivisions over there and most of them carry Ann Arbor addresses. No clue why you would say that.
I live in Dexter, as I've humble bragged many times here. It would be a perfect place for a coach to live. 10ish minutes from AA, 15 in some parts, and tons of multi million dollar homes. Also secluded and quiet.

Well, I grew up over there. There are nice houses and subdivisions.
But no Michigan basketball or football coach has ever lived over in that area.
Barton Hills, Huron River Drive, and Geddes/Huron Parkway/ Washtenaw Ave near the Racquet club is where they have all lived. The best neighborhood in Dexter is the preserve, but there are nicer neighborhoods just down the road on Huron River Drive. And where you would get to the places Billy would live, Metzger's would make no sense to go to for lunch
Also, as much as I do like Metzger's, it's not the place you take Billy Donovan on his first visit to Ann Arbor.

The one reason to be in A2 without a contract is to host the visit by Franz Wagner while the contact is getting negotiated. Contracts take time but an overseas visit may be difficult to reschedule.
