Donovan Peoples-Jones Draft Video
Having fallen in the draft, I'm disappointed for the young man. However, he fell into a good spot in Cleveland. There's an opportunity for him to train and play with two extraordinary wide receivers in Landry and Beckham. Further, there is a dearth of quality receivers behind the Browns two stars. Not only is there an opportunity with a roster spot, there is an opportunity to play. With his hands (drop percentage 2.1% - 2018), athleticism, and seemingly high character, I believe that he'll not only stick with the Browns, but he will thrive.

What was his drop rate in 2019?
Cool video. Whatever your opinion of him and his career here, the Paul Bunyan Pose will be one of my favorite Michigan moments, along with the Dez Heisman Pose, Woodson with the rose in his mouth, Branch slowly walking away from a deceased PSU QB, Denards first play at Michigan, AC vs Indiana, David Boston eating shit etc.
Totally agree. That moment was when the rivalry went back to its normal state of being. In an instant the game was over and, barring a surprising turnaround in East Lansing, Michigan should dominate the series for the foreseeable future.
All I want to know is what happened to Mike Martin's hair!?!?
Cool to see Mike Martin as his Financial Advisor. Good luck to DPJ. Hopefully the Browns utilize him properly unlike Michigan.
Mike Martin: I just got a lot less finance to advise upon...
Seriously though, that Paul Bunyan pose.
Didn't know Mike Martin was doing that. Cool video.
Browns signed Higgins today so DPJ’s competition just got a lot tougher. The browns are probably not going to be running a lot of 3+ WR sets with Stefanski

Tee Higgins signed with the Bengals, not the Browns (easy to mix up two bad NFL teams in Ohio). DPJ will need to claw for fourth on the WR depth chart behind OBJ, Landry, and Ratley. Cleveland’s gonna use Austin Hooper and David Njoku a lot as flex TE’s, so there may not be a lot of passes coming his way this year. He’ll need to make the most of any chances at KR/PR.
They were referring to Rashard Higgins, who has been on the Browns for the past few years.
2:03: Should have been 2 more years of that.
Thanks for sharing. Mom seems like a great supportive influence. Good luck DPJ!
On the field, learn how to run and catch like Beckham. To learn how to conduct yourself off the field, see if you can get ahold of Jerry Rice, leave Beckham at the training facility.
I was checking out 11W during the 6th and 7th round of the draft to see the comments on Michigan men in the draft [very humorous] the comments on DPJ was that he would have gone higher if he had become a bucknut. The point is mute because not even KJ went til the 7th.
I think he will develop into a great pro receiver. To bad he has to play in the crappiest state in the union.
The point is mute...
Oh really?
He can’t speak. Vocal cord injury. He’s moot.

Ok the correction is actually funny.
Unfortunately, I've been living in this despicable state for 30 years, but I actually think cleveland.com got this one pretty much right on DPJ.
The good news is that my youngest will be heading to TSUN as they call it in these parts this fall.
Go Blue!

My cousin lives in the Cleveland area who was born and raised in Michigan. He wears a block M tat on one arm and a Tiger T on the other. Gets grief from the Buck fans. He actually works at the Stadium during games. Hasn't lost his zeal for Michigan. Good luck to your child at TSUN! Go Blue!
Good to see the young man smiling. Congratulations and Go Blue!
I don't want to make assumptions or rag on the guy. Obviously, we all want to believe the highest recruits will be our best players so we get disappointed when guys like DPJ don't put up the production we expect. That said, Anthony Broome at maizenbrew alluded to the fact that DPJ was not all together happy last year and the WR room did not have great chemistry. They also claimed that DPJ did not come off well in pre draft interviews because the sense is that he blamed others for his lack of production. So, it seems like addition by subtraction may be a good thing for next year, even if that means not having a really talented guy any longer.
I read that and agreed. No one else stopped him from working on his game. His biggest weaknesses were improving his route running and blocking. And no doubt imo Shea not putting in a ton of work to develop and demand chemistry from the receivers had a lot to do with that. They weren't in sync. At the MTSU and Army games you could see it. They just didn't have any rhythm to the passing game, Patterson wasn't comfortable and I was seeing bad routes as well. Neither team should have been within 14pts after the 1st qtr! DJP was the best athlete of our receivers and was watching Ronnie Bell fight like hell for balls to get open and the rest weren't!

Agreed, going back and watching the bowl game against Bama, DPJ could not find much room and get much seperation to get open. Meanwhile, Bell looked great, and went and got some difficult catches and took off and ran hard after the catch. I think Bell will be very good next year, along with Collins & Jackson if healthy.
Uhh, DPJ didn't even PLAY against MTSU and Army! He was wearing a walking boot because of an apparent sprained ankle. His first game back was Wisconsin where, in that game and the next, he saw limited action as he worked his way back to full health.
Some of y'all just run with a bullshit narrative for the sake of posting!
